It’s intense and yet too simple to just describe it as “Black Metal” this project has folk passages, haunting witch like female vocals, and strays away from harsh black metal and ventures more into the realm of Emperor and Ulver. A huge step in American Metal. Even before this release was out they had interviews in Metal Maniacs and Unrestrained! With tours being arranged for the whole year this band will definitely become a best of 2006 by December. They are now arranging tours through Nanotear Booking who handles Jarboe, Ludicra, YOB amongst others.

With a punk aesthetic this band has made a mark, utilizing DIY handmade demos that rival the creativity of expensive limited editions. Playing across the west coast with acts such as Asunder, Ludicra, Saros, Graves at Sea, and High On Fire they carry a unique look at Black Metal that people from many different musical tastes can appreciate. Utilizing the nature of Washington State as a Siren, they follow a path of living off the land, and succumbing to very little of civilizations luxuries. Hypocritical? Maybe… are they aware of this possibility? Yes…. For them it’s not about what others think, but what they do.
